OUR MISSION

At the Parkes Institute, we value sharing our research and expertise beyond the University environment. A core element of this mission is the provision of off-campus workshops with local schools and sixth forms. In previous years the Parkes Institute – in collaboration with the Holocaust Educational Trust – has delivered these workshops for Holocaust and Genocide Memorial Day. It has not been possible this year to visit local schools and colleges. Instead, we have created this exhibition as a celebration of our outreach events.  The outreach activities presented in this exhibition are the culmination of years of outreach in the local community.
