Digital Exhibition
​This exhibition was launched on 15 July 2021 as part of the Parkes Institute for the Study of Jewish/non-Jewish Relations (University of Southampton) 'Complicating narratives of the Kindertransport' online course for educators.

Exhibition Team

Dr Jennifer Craig-Norton (Curator and Content) completed her PhD at University of Southampton. Her recent book, The Kindertransport: Contesting Memory, (Bloomington, 2019) provides a new analysis of children’s immigration from Nazi-Occupied Europe to Britain. Jennifer curated the material
Katie Power (Exhibition Design) is the Parkes Institute Digital Coordinator and responsible for the design and creation of the digital exhibition. She is a history PhD student at the Parkes Institute, researching Yiddish theatre in London during and after the Second World War.

Dr Heather Mann (Content) recently completed her PhD on teachers and Holocaust education in England and France at the University of Oxford. Last year, Heather taught the Special Subject module on the history of the Holocaust at the University of Southampton.

Nicola Woodhead (Content) is a history PhD student at the Parkes Institute, University of Southampton. Her PhD focuses on the Kindertransport, specifically the transmigrant journeys of Kinder. She is also an Ian Karten Outreach Fellow at the Parkes Institute.

Karen Robson (Archive & Digitisation) is the Head of Archives and Special Collections at the University of Southampton.

Sabrina Harder (Archive & Digitisation) is an Archive Assistant for the Archive and Special Collections at the University of Southampton.
